At least in public, Rousseff is not famous for his sense of humor. But the city of his ancestors Bulgarians, Gabrovo, uses skits and jokes as a tourist attraction.

The main museum of the city, about 200 km from Sofia, is the Humor and Satire. Every two years, in spring, the Festival also happens Humor and Satire, which attracts comedians from various countries.
The creation of the museum and the festival took place when the country was ruled by Communists. Bulgaria was part of so-called Iron Curtain and the idea was to show a more open country and that it accepted the irreverence.
But most of the jokes was about the people themselves or on figures from Western capitalism. Local political leaders or the Soviet Union were spared.

Today the museum houses hundreds of cartoons, sculptures, and of course jokes.
Gabrovo inaugurated on the second round in Brazil a permanent exhibition about the Bulgarian ancestors Dilma.
